The story of their roastery began around 2013. By then, they had already been experimenting with ways to improve their home coffee brewing for some time when they tasted truly exceptional specialty coffee for the first time. It was an unexpected discovery of beauty that captivated them more deeply and lastingly than they could have imagined at the time. Some time later, the idea of trying to roast such coffee themselves emerged. Back then, it was a rather naive decision made by a few friends.
Working at the roastery is creative and fun, but it can also be repetitive and exhausting. It requires patience and attention to detail. They see it as a collaborative effort, where the combined skills of individual team members come together with those of the baristas at their café and other professional friends who share their passion for the roastery. They consider themselves part of the beautiful story of specialty coffee, which always begins with the careful work carried out on family farms in the mountainous regions of equatorial countries.
They always seek the optimal roasting approach for each individual coffee, aiming to bring out a truly beautiful, balanced flavour while preserving its sweetness and allowing its full flavour potential to shine.
