You won’t find any single-use plastics at the festival. We support sustainability and a responsible approach to consumption.

Education on coffee & sustainability

The workshops and lectures focus not only on coffee preparation, but also on the impact of the coffee industry and ways to improve it.

Responsible management of coffee waste

Used coffee grounds don't end up in the trash; instead, they are sent for recycling or reused in several industries. 

Raffle for a good cause

Proceeds from the festival raffle go to charitable projects related to the coffee community and sustainability.

How it all began

First festival

The year it all began. The very first festival took place.

First Kniha kaváren

A year later, the first Kniha kaváren was published.

First Filtruj!

In addition to the main festival, there was also a smaller event called Filtruj!.

Two festivals

For the first time, we managed to organize two festivals.

Year of COVID

Unfortunately, we weren't spared from COVID either, so the festival didn't take place.

Return of Filtruj!

After 6 long years, Filtruj! is back.
